According to a recent SEC filing, billionaire Michael Saylor's bitcoin acquisition company, Strategy, has added 487 more bitcoins to its growing treasury.

These purchases, made between November 3 and November 9, totaled $49.9 million in cash, at an average price of $102,557 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses.

This brings Strategy's total bitcoin holdings to 641,692 bitcoins, with a total value of $47.54 billion and an average purchase price of $74,079 per bitcoin.

The company remains the world's largest corporate holder of bitcoin, continuing a multi-year accumulation strategy driven by Saylor's belief that the asset is "the world's first digital asset."

Funded by Proceeds from Preferred Stock

The filing revealed that the latest Bitcoin purchase was funded by proceeds from the sale of several types of perpetual preferred stock under Strategy's at-the-market (ATM) program.

Between November 3 and November 9, the company generated approximately $50 million in net proceeds from four preferred stock offerings: Series A Strife, Stretch, Strike, and Stride.

No new common stock was issued during this period, indicating that Strategy continues to rely primarily on preferred stock programs rather than diluting existing shareholders for its digital asset accumulation.

Accumulation Despite Market Volatility

Strategy's latest purchase reflects its long-term confidence in Bitcoin amid an uncertain market backdrop. The company's incremental acquisition approach—buying in small tranches during periods of volatility—reflects a disciplined approach focused on long-term value rather than short-term speculation.

Saylor has repeatedly described Bitcoin as the most effective way for institutions to preserve capital during times of inflationary pressure and monetary instability. Despite cyclical price fluctuations, this continued accumulation demonstrates his unwavering commitment to a Bitcoin-focused treasury model.

Largest Corporate Bitcoin Holder

As of November 9th, Strategy held a total of 641,692 Bitcoins, unmatched by any other corporation globally. At current market prices, the portfolio is valued at over $65 billion, reflecting the scale and impact of Saylor's continued bet on digital assets.

The company also disclosed that over $15.8 billion of Class A common stock is available for issuance and sale, creating room for further Bitcoin purchases in the future. This filing reinforces that Saylor's vision for Strategy is strongly linked to Bitcoin's long-term appreciation, positioning the company as a structural pillar in the evolving digital asset economy.
