M25 traffic jams after lanes closed due to accident
According to National Highways, motorists on the M25 faced traffic jams stretching for seven miles following the accident.
The agency previously reported that the fourth lane of the motorway, clockwise, was closed between Junction 9 (Leatherhead) and Junction 10 (Wisley) due to the collision.
All lanes have now reopened and the accident scene has been cleared, but motorists are still facing delays of up to 35 minutes.
National Highways said traffic jams stretched for approximately seven miles, extending to Junction 8 (Reigate).
It thanked motorists for their patience.
