Right handed pitcher Shane Bieber will remain with the Toronto Blue Jays
TORONTO — According to multiple reports, right-handed pitcher Shane Bieber has decided to remain with the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays have not confirmed the move.
It is reported that Bieber exercised his player option instead of opting for free agency at age 30.
The Californian made seven starts for Toronto in the regular season and had an ERA of 3.57.
Bieber won Game 4 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He pitched 5.1 innings, allowing one run, four hits, and three strikeouts.
He was acquired from the Cleveland Guardians at the trade deadline.
