Driver hits power pole in fatal Volusia County crash
The Florida Highway Patrol has reported a fatal crash on State Road 415 near Rasley Road where a Nissan Sentra struck a utility pole, killing the driver.
The vehicle was traveling southbound at approximately 4:30 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, it lost control, crossed into the northbound lane, and struck a pole.
The accident investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are trying to determine what caused the vehicle to lose control.
