According to ESPN's Todd Archer, head coach Brian Schottenheimer didn't provide further details after the game, simply stating that Lamb and Pickens "overlooked some things."

"There were some things that were missed, so had a conversation with those guys and that was easy," Schottenheimer explained.

On Tuesday, owner Jerry Jones was asked about the situation during his regular program on 105.3 The Fan and explained that the decision was made due to an "internal issue" that "had to do with meeting-type discipline" and that Lamb and Pickens "had a problem with being late."

This leads us to conclude that Pickens and Lamb were late for the team meeting, but we can't say for sure. We'll have to wait and see if more information comes out in the coming days.

What we do know is that this decision didn't affect either player in the slightest.

Pickens led all Cowboys pass-catchers with nine receptions for 144 yards and scored a touchdown. Lamb finished second in receptions (five) and receiving yards (66) and also scored a touchdown.

Perhaps the Cowboys should bench Lamb and Pickens more often.

All jokes aside, this win was a huge one for the Cowboys, who can't afford to miss any more games. They remain tied with the Philadelphia Eagles and are now 10th in the NFC playoff standings.

Now, the Cowboys will look to continue their winning streak in their Week 12 matchup with the Eagles.
