Luke Littler's victory over Luke Humphries this weekend means that 2025 has truly been a dream year for The Nuke; if he had written down all his goals on a piece of paper and shot them with an arrow while blindfolded, it couldn't have been better. Since his historic victory in January, the 18-year-old has also passed his driving test (he also received a nice new BMW 120 M Sport in the process), and his beloved Manchester United aren't looking bad at all for the first time in a long time. Indeed, it's been a great year for this guy.

After winning the World Grand Prix in Leicester last month, I noticed that Littler celebrated all his victories wearing the same TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph watch, calling it a people's champion, just like him. Now, it looks like he's given himself a major upgrade—and that too from a watch manufacturer called Crown.
For many, owning a Rolex is the ultimate achievement. If you wear a Rolex on your wrist, you've achieved it, and it seems Littler has had this simple, kettle-like desire, as he's been wearing a brand-new two-tone Rolex Submariner Date during the Grand Slam of Darts. In fact, he was first seen wearing it in an Instagram post while posing with some KP fans.

Called the 'Bluesy', it measures 41mm long, features an Oystersteel and yellow gold bracelet, a gold-wrapped blue ceramic bezel, and a blue dial with a date window at 3 o'clock. If we didn't know more about it, we might have said Littler chose it to match the color of his purple and yellow darts top from his playing days.

It's a well-known fact that the Datejust is the most popular/best-selling Rolex, but history shows that the Submariner is the most iconic and recognizable Rolex of all time. From James Bond to David Beckham and Tom Hardy, everyone has been a well-known wearer of this Rolex model. Clearly, Luke Littler has put in the effort, done a lot of research, and come to the (correct) conclusion that this sports watch is perfect for him.

Okay, so it's specifically designed for diving to a depth of 100 meters, and Littler has been known to dive to a depth of 180 meters, but the extra weight on his wrist compared to a TAG Heuer Carrera has only had a positive effect on his throw. And at just 18 years old, this is certainly the beginning of a long and fruitful watch collection for Littler. Another big win, with a stunning new watch, the Flex – see more of Luke at Ally Pally later next month.
