Luke Littler: The world No. 2 admitted he was 'nervous' and 'shaking' after being chased by photographers on the motorway.
Luke Littler was chased by photographers on a motorway just two days after passing his driving test. The 18-year-old posted a photo on Instagram showing off his new BMW and later revealed that he did so to prevent paparazzi from taking advantage of the situation.
Luke Littler has admitted he was "shaky" and "terrified" after being chased by photographers just two days after passing his driving test.
The darts world champion was on his way to meet his girlfriend when he noticed paparazzi following him on a motorway.
"I was getting followed on Wednesday," Littler revealed.
"I made the latest exit you could possibly make on a motorway. I came off so late, and so did he.
"I think I did about three U-turns, but he did the same.
"I was shaking and nervous, I had been driving for two days and getting followed on a motorway."
However, the world number 2 has revealed that the post was made so that the paparazzi could not take advantage of the situation.
"That's why I posted the car so he couldn't sell his pictures," Litter shared.
"I know it's their job, but following me on the motorway, it's dead busy and I was nervous.
"So yeah that's why I posted the car so he couldn't do nothing about it."
Littler's focus will now shift to the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton, which begins live on Sky Sports on Saturday afternoon.
The 18-year-old will be hoping to retain his title after last year's victory. Winning the title would take him from Luke Humphries to first place on the PDC Order of Merit.
