Audi e-tron GT Facelift Brings Supercar Power to a Luxury EV

Audi has unveiled its updated and lightly facelifted e-tron GT, a move that dramatically reshapes the brand’s electric performance lineup and firmly escalates its rivalry with the Porsche Taycan.

While exterior changes are subtle—new colors, redesigned wheels, refined aero elements, and updated badging—the real transformation lies beneath the skin. Audi has expanded the range to four distinct variants: e-tron GT quattro, S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT, and the all-new RS e-tron GT Performance, the most powerful production road car Audi has ever built.

Power outputs have surged across the lineup. The base e-tron GT quattro now produces 576bhp, while the S model delivers 670bhp. The RS version jumps to 844bhp, and the flagship RS Performance unleashes a staggering 912bhp, enabling a 0–62mph sprint in as little as 2.5 seconds—firmly into supercar territory.

All models feature dual-motor all-wheel drive and a two-speed rear gearbox shared with the Taycan, balancing brutal acceleration with high-speed efficiency. Audi has also upgraded the battery, increasing capacity from 93kWh to 105kWh, while paradoxically reducing weight by 9kg.

Range remains competitive despite the power boost, with Audi quoting up to 386 miles on the base model. Thanks to its 800-volt architecture, the e-tron GT now supports 320kW DC fast charging, allowing a 10–80% charge in just 18 minutes under optimal conditions.

Inside, Audi sticks to its strengths: a high-quality, understated cabin focused on comfort, usability, and long-distance refinement. Adaptive air suspension is now standard across the range, reinforcing the e-tron GT’s credentials as a true grand tourer rather than a harsh performance EV.

Pricing reflects its premium positioning. The lineup starts at £89,505, rising to £143,875 for the RS Performance before options. While depreciation remains a concern, Audi’s blend of comfort, space, and staggering performance makes the e-tron GT one of the most compelling electric four-door GTs on sale.

Bottom line: With colossal power, faster charging, and genuine everyday comfort, the updated Audi e-tron GT proves that electrification hasn’t dulled Audi’s performance edge—if anything, it’s sharpened it.
