Trump dozes off at White House event, Newsom mocks him
Hey, we all doze off every now and then while listening to the idiotic ramblings of daytime talk show hosts like Dr. Mehmet Oz.
But when you make that daytime talk show host the administrator of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and he's talking to reporters in the Oval Office, it's not a good idea to doze off.
On Thursday, Trump was seen closing his eyes several times during an announcement of price reductions on some weight-loss drugs for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. In a scene captured by CSPAN, Trump is seen grappling with Sandmann while listening to Oz's obesity-related rhetoric 25 minutes into the White House event.
In response to Trump's napping antics on the program, Newsom's press office decided to repurpose a nickname they previously used for the president.
“DOZY DON IS BACK!” the account wrote, alongside a photo from Harnik and a snippet of CSPAN’s footage.
