On Truthout Social, the president recalled his comments on Friday in which he said there was nothing to hide regarding the files being made public.

"As I told the fake news media on Air Force One Friday night, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files because we have nothing to hide, and it's time to move on from this Democrat fraud perpetrated by radical left-wing lunatics to distract from the Republican Party's great successes, including our recent victory over the Democrat 'shutdown.'"

He added that if Democrats had anything on him, they would have released it during the election.

"When Jeffrey Epstein was alive, no one cared about him, and if the Democrats had anything, they would have released it before our landslide election victory."

Instead, President Trump wants to focus on the Republican Party's record-breaking achievements this year.

"Let's start talking about the Republican Party's record-breaking achievements, and not get caught up in the Epstein 'trap,' which is really a curse for the Democrats, not us. Let's make America great again!"

The House is preparing to vote on Tuesday to release more documents.

Despite the House Oversight Committee releasing thousands of documents related to Epstein, Congressman Thomas Massie (Republican-Kentucky) is not satisfied with their transparency.

Massey expressed confidence that when the resolution is voted on, many House Republicans will join his effort to release more files.

"I think we may have a flood of Republicans voting to release Epstein's files," Massie said. "There could be 100 or more. I hope I have a veto-proof majority when this bill is voted on."

However, only three other Republican lawmakers, Marjorie Taylor Greene (Republican-Georgia), Lauren Boebert (Republican-Colorado), and Nancy Mace (Republican-Supreme Court), have signed the discharge petition to force a House vote on his move.

"I don't care. Release or not," Trump said. "I think that's what you should do. If you have to do it, you have to contact Epstein's friends. Reid Hoffman spent a lot of time on the island. I've never been to the island. Bill Clinton reportedly went there 28 times. You have to contact his friends too."

The President has long criticized Mace and the Democrats for pursuing Epstein's files.

Trump also pointed out how the House Oversight Committee has already released more than 20,000 documents related to Epstein.

"I think they already have 50,000 pages," the president said. "Look, this is a hoax perpetrated by the Democrats. This is a hoax perpetrated by the Democrats. And some Republicans have even joined in because they're weak and ineffective."

A vote on releasing more pages is scheduled for this Tuesday, but Massie may still face some obstacles.

Earlier this year, Senate Republicans blocked an amendment from Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (Democrat-New York) that would have required the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release the remaining files.

It's unclear whether the Senate will vote the same way if Massie's proposal passes the lower house.
