Trump's remarks come after an illegal immigrant was charged in a stabbing on the Charlotte Light Rail on Friday.

According to Fox News, court records show that 33-year-old Oscar Solórzano was arrested in connection with the attack and faces several charges, including attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury.
A release order stated that bond had not been set because Solórzano had previously been deported.
Police responded to an assault call around 4:49 p.m. on Friday and found the victim, identified as Kenyon Kareem-Shemar Doby, with stab wounds.
Court documents cited by Fox News state that Solórzano allegedly broke into a railroad car "with the intent to commit a felony" and, while intoxicated, challenged Doby to a fight, shouting "incomprehensible and slurred words."
Fox News also reported that Solórzano was provided with a Spanish interpreter, and that the records contained several other names.
He is scheduled to appear in court on December 8th and will subsequently be transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.
Reacting to the incident, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy posted on X, "Looks like Iryna Zarutska's death wasn't enough. What does @CLTMayor need to do to get violent criminals off the streets and protect his voters? The time to act is now." (ANI)
