A man and a woman are hospitalized with injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Easky, County Sligo, on Sunday.

The collision occurred at 10:15 p.m. in Kileenduff.

Both drivers, a woman and a 40-year-old man, were taken to Sligo University Hospital, where the woman is listed in critical condition and the man is receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

The road is currently closed for a technical examination by forensic collision investigators, and local routes have been diverted.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Road users who have camera footage (including dash-cams) and were traveling on the R297 in Kileenduff, Easky, between 9:45 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. are requested to provide this footage to investigating Gardaí.
