Actress Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, Victoria Jones, has been found dead in a San Francisco hotel.
Jones, 34, was found dead in the early hours of New Year's Day, citing law enforcement sources.

A spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed the news to media outlets, stating that paramedics were called to the Fairmont Hotel at 2:52 a.m.

"Our units arrived on the scene, investigated, and pronounced one individual deceased," a spokesperson said, adding that the local police department and medical examiner's office then took over the case.

The cause of death has not yet been determined.

The Daily Mail reported that a fellow guest alerted staff after finding Jones unconscious in the hallway.

Jones was the second child of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. Her brother, Austin, is 43 years old.

As a child, Jones appeared in films with her father, including Men in Black II and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, and she also appeared in the TV series One Tree Hill.

While promoting The Three Burials, Tommy Lee Jones spoke about his daughter, saying: "She's a good actress, she has a SAG card, she speaks very good Spanish. When she was a baby, I told her nanny, Leticia, to speak to her in Spanish."

He also said that when she was a teenager, she had trouble getting up early for film sets. "She had to get up at 5 a.m. for her role," he told New York magazine. "One morning, she wouldn't get out of bed. I said: 'Honey, this is a job.' But she wouldn't budge.

"So I fired her." Then, without telling me, the production staff went and woke him up and got him to the set on time."

The pair frequently appeared together on the red carpet, including in October 2018, when he was on the jury of the Tokyo Film Festival.

Tommy Lee Jones, 79, has won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his role in The Fugitive and has also starred in films such as JFK, Lincoln, In the Valley of Elah, and No Country for Old Men.
