Authorities say 20-year-old Brandon Rodriguez-Silva met the victim on the gaming platform Roblox and requested explicit photos.
He is being held without bond in California and will be extradited to Florida to face the charges.
ORLANDO, Fla. – Authorities say a California man has been arrested on charges of attempting to entice a child he met online following a two-year investigation by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO).
The case began in June 2023 when a parent in Palm Coast discovered inappropriate and sexually explicit conversations on their child's iPad.

Authorities said the alleged inappropriate and sexually explicit conversations were with a man identified as 20-year-old Brandon Rodriguez-Silva of San Jose, California.
Investigators say Rodriguez-Silva met the victim on the gaming platform Roblox, after which they continued their conversations on Discord and then via text message, where he allegedly requested explicit photos.
Detectives with the FCSO's Cyber Crimes and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, working with the San Jose Police Department, identified Rodriguez-Silva.
On November 5, 2025, U.S. Marshals arrested him in California on charges of sending harmful material to a minor and enticing a child for unlawful sexual conduct.
