Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have officially made their relationship official on Instagram, after the singer posted several photos and videos from her Japan trip.

In one photo, Perry and Trudeau are seen smiling for a selfie, their faces touching. In another video, the two are seen trying sushi.

Neither Perry nor Trudeau have publicly commented on their relationship. However, numerous photos of them together have fueled speculation over the months.

Earlier this year, Trudeau was spotted at Perry's concert, fueling romance rumors with the pop star.

Perry was visiting Japan as part of her global Lifetimes Tour.

Perry, 41, captioned her Instagram carousel: "Tokyo Times on Tour and more."

Earlier this week, Trudeau, 53, also reposted a photo of the two with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko. Writing on X, he said: "@kishida230 It was so nice to meet you. Katy and I were so happy to have the opportunity to sit with you and Yuko.

"Fumio, thank you for your friendship and your continued commitment to an international rules-based order and a better future for all."

Last month, the two confirmed their relationship after being photographed holding hands at an event in Paris.

TMZ published photos and video footage of the two walking hand-in-hand before getting into a car. When photographers called out, Trudeau was seen helping the singer into the back seat.

This appearance in Paris coincided with Perry's 41st birthday and appeared to be their first public outing as a couple.

During a recent tour in London, Perry appeared to hint at their relationship status.

After a fan in the audience proposed to her during a performance, the singer jokingly said: "I wish you had asked me 48 hours earlier." This was her And this comes just days after the first photos of Trudeau were published online.
