Police investigating North homicide where 70-year-old was killed

Officers responded to a report of an injured man at a home on Richmond Street around 1:30 p.m.
Emergency crews performed life-saving measures, but the man died from his injuries. In an email to CityNews, officials did not elaborate on the nature of his injuries.
He has been identified as 70-year-old Brian David Johnson.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service determined the death to be a homicide after an autopsy. However, police said they do not believe the incident was accidental.
This is the fifth homicide in HRM this year.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
