Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, Victoria, had a plea deal in the works that included a condition of sobriety, and it was still pending before her sudden death...
As you know, she was found dead Thursday morning at the Fairmont San Francisco, and dispatch audio suggests it may have been related to an overdose. We also told you that she had several run-ins with the law over the past few years... including a recent drug-related arrest in April.
And, according to court documents obtained by TMZ... Victoria was offered a plea deal following the April incident, during which she was found in unlawful possession of cocaine — and resisted arrest. The plea deal offered by Napa County would have required her to plead guilty to resisting/obstructing arrest and possession of a controlled substance... but it would have dropped the charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance. In exchange, she would have had to refrain from using drugs and submit to random testing.
The deal would have also required her to be on probation for one year... as well as participate in an alternative program such as counseling. She would have also been responsible for paying fines associated with the program as well as her charges.
Victoria's next court date was January 20th, where she could have entered her plea in the case. However, she did not make it to that date.
TMZ reached out to Victoria's attorney and the Napa County prosecutor for comment... so far, no response.
As we told you, these charges stemmed from an incident where Victoria accidentally dialed 911 in Napa, which led to a welfare check at her location. She told officers she was fine, but while there, they observed she had white residue on her tongue and was speaking rapidly and "fighting her body movements." She admitted to using cocaine that day, and police arrested her—which she resisted.
Victoria's family broke their silence on her death on Friday, releasing a brief statement that read: "We appreciate all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."
