This new flagship naked bike is the latest addition to the brand's Z lineup, bringing aggressive styling, modern technology, and a more powerful engine to the segment. It will replace the Z1000 as the flagship motorcycle in the supernaked lineup.
Design
The 2026 Z1100 features Kawasaki's signature Sugomi design, giving it a muscular and sporty look. It features the signature dual-pod headlamp, muscular tank section, and short tail section; it retains the signature Z series design language.
Engine and Gearbox
It is powered by a 1099cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 134.14 bhp at 9000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7600 rpm. Kawasaki has tuned this engine to deliver power in the low- and mid-range. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
Chassis, Suspension, and Brakes
The Kawasaki Z1100 features an aluminum twin-tube frame. At the front, it uses a fully adjustable 41mm Showa upside-down fork that handles compression and rebound damping, as well as preload adjustment, allowing for precise tuning to the rider's liking. At the rear, it features a fully adjustable monoshock suspension. The Z1100 features a 310mm dual-disc setup at the front and a 260mm disc setup at the rear, with radial-mount Tokico calipers at both front and rear. The Z1100 weighs 221 kg, 9 kg more than the previous Z1000.
Features and Rider Aids
The Kawasaki Z1100 features a 5-inch TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, call, and message alerts. Other features include two power modes, three-level traction control, dual-channel ABS, slip and assist clutch, bi-directional quick shifter, and cruise control.
Rivals and Price
The 2026 Kawasaki Z1100 is priced at ₹12.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes with bikes like the Honda Hornet 1000sp, which is priced at ₹13.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
