England manager Thomas Tuchel says Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham and Manchester City's Phil Foden have been "excellent" for their clubs recently. He has recalled them to his squad for next week's World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania.
The German manager further said Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott "deserves" his first senior team call-up, as England have already secured their place in next summer's tournament.
Tuchel said of Bellingham and Foden, "They play regularly and have been crucial to Real Madrid and Manchester City's success. They have regularly scored decisive goals. We are delighted that they are in form and back with us."
Tuchel has resisted calls to include Brighton striker Danny Welbeck in his new squad, while attacking midfielder Jack Grealish, who is on loan from Manchester City to Everton, and right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold have not been included in the squad.
Alexander-Arnold's Real Madrid teammate Bellingham was left out of Tuchel's squad in October when the 22-year-old returned from shoulder surgery.
Manchester City playmaker Foden has not been selected in the last three England squads, last playing an international match against Latvia in March.
