Six Gwent Police officers are facing misconduct hearings following a car crash near Cardiff that claimed three lives in March 2023
Following a car accident that resulted in the deaths of three people, six police officers will face misconduct proceedings after an investigation into their actions.
Sophie Russon, 20, Eve Smith, 21, Darcy Ross, 21, Raphael Jean, 24, and Shane Loughlin, 32, were last seen at approximately 2:00 GMT on March 4, 2023, when they went missing while on a night out.
Two days after the accident, Gwent Police confirmed that the car had been found on the A48 near Cardiff, with three of the five people tragically dead inside.
