“I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian Naval Ships, some of them relatively large and important,” Trump said in the video. “We are going after the rest — they will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea, also.”
Trump further claimed that Iranian naval headquarters were “largely destroyed” in a separate attack, adding, “Other than that, their Navy is doing very well,” a remark delivered with visible sarcasm.
The video, posted around March 1, 2026, has been described by observers as a second update or briefing related to what Trump and online commentators have referred to as Operation Epic Fury, a name not formally confirmed by the U.S. Department of Défense.
