Inside, the i4 blends familiar BMW craftsmanship with modern tech. A wide curved dual-screen display dominates the dash, offering extensive customization but fewer physical buttons—a move that may frustrate traditionalists. Still, build quality remains high, and practicality shines thanks to a large hatchback boot rarely seen in this segment.
Crucially, the i4 excels where it matters most: balance. It rides comfortably, handles with precision, and maintains impressive real-world efficiency. Unlike many EVs, aggressive driving or cold weather doesn’t dramatically punish its range, putting it close to Tesla’s benchmark battery performance.
With BMW’s upcoming Neue Klasse models on the horizon, the i4 may eventually be replaced. But for now, it remains one of the most complete electric sedans available—proof that BMW has quietly mastered EVs without losing its soul.
